Cash Back Credit Cards

Cash back credit cards are used for getting a money back guarantee upon usage of credit cards. For every purchase, you can earn back a certain amount of cash as your reward for using your credit card. Usually, this comes in the form of rebate.

Rebates are usually earned at the end of the year. For every purchase you make from your credit card, you get a rebate which corresponds to your specific credit card cash back program. This cash back program is usually based on percentage rates. For a specific amount spent, there are also a corresponding percentage of rebates being deducted from your current purchase. At the end of the year, all of those accumulated rebates from using your credit card can be given back to you in the form of cash. You get your discounts back in the form of money.

In addition, cash back credit cards usually offer a period wherein it would not let you accumulate interests from using your credit card. This may last for a month and a half, depending on your card company’s program. During this period, you are given the chance to pay off any outstanding debts as well as accumulate more rebates for the cash back system without having to worry about any interests also being accumulated.

Reaping the full benefits of cash back credit cards usually lie behind meeting payment deadlines on time. As you do so, you are assured that you would be able to get the full amount of your rebates especially if your no-interest promo period is already over. Paying on time ensures you that no interest rates would be deducted from the rebates you have accumulated so far.

Cash back credit cards can offer rebates, however it is regulated by interest rates. Once your interest promo period expires, your credit card automatically adapts the interest plan specifically made for it by its credit card company. As you spend your credit card beyond the promo period, you would already automatically earn interest in return. So if you do not meet payment deadlines, interest rates may be deducted on the rebates you have accumulated.
